So, people are talking about it on the radio. The weather is supposed to be even hotter in August. There’s a town in Wales that’s going for zero carbon, with a water mill & methane tank. They were saying that change is from a grass roots level.

Green Drinks is an informal networking event for those who work in the environmental field. All are welcome. This is an unstructured event, not speed dating style. We hope you will make contacts and have interesting conversations.
Green Drinks is to be hosted this month by Hotel du Vin.
Date: 1st August (1st Tuesday of the month) Arrive from 6pm for 6.30.
Location: Hotel du Vin, Church Street (nr Snow Hill Station), Birmingham, B3 2NR. Instructions on how to reach the hotel are available here.
As it’s the middle of summer we will be meeting in the outdoor courtyard of the hotel. Hotel du Vin will provide cold mineral water, and other drinks will be available to buy.

Hmm, the weather has been hot and sunny every day I have written this blog. Maybe I should stop as it’s getting too hot.
This is Mike & Nic’s project management area for the sustainable/accessible house project we have in South Bohemia.

So my plan today… figure out what to do next. I’m definitely missing working with Laura & my colleagues from Dens of Equality, it’s so much harder when you’re the only person in your team.

Hmm, need some business plan & cost analysis magic, in the same way as I needed process diagram magic. The basics are there, but it needs more work. Perhaps I could try to calculate cost savings for the end user.
Damned hot, again. How do people work in LA - where the weather’s like this all the time?
The cat is confused. I’ve just moved her off the table as she was sitting on important documents. It makes no sense to her - paper=lovely place to nap - it’s only humans that differentiate between crucial, irreplaceable paper, and paper you use to mop up fur balls.
Okay, so the Process Diagram saga continues. Maybe I should just draw it by hand. I know this is radical… but it may be the only way to make progress without having to learn a different computer programme & find an A3 printer. Out with the technical drawing equipment.
