Cloudy Friday
So, spent part of yesterday learning Blender, and part celebrating the birthday of lovely lisa. It’s not been the most productive week, really. Just goes to show that drinking alcohol does me no good at all. Did, however, find this site - a design inspiration blog. Some really great ideas!
This morning I’ve started an email to a Czech person from Vlceves and sorted out the hotel for Mum & Phil’s visit. Phoned the lawyer in Prague & he’s not in till Tuesday, so still don’t have a progress report from him.
So far in Blender I’ve made a stick man that looks like he’s swallowed a canoe. Just looking on the blender artists site to see if the guy’s got back to me about the competition and found this. I wonder how I can get advice from people who do architecture type stuff in Blender?
It’s exciting & frustrating. If I had a model of bog people could really see what it could achieve. But the process of learning how to use Blender myself!
Okay, so my plan today: put the info from the brochure up on the ‘about bog’ section. Then calculate the electricity stuff for bog. Then as a reward, have another look at Blender to see if I can start to construct a 3d model process instrumentation diagram.
Could do with figuring out how to post images here ACTION.
Hmm, seemed have totally messed up the fonts on the ‘about bog’ pages. Mike isn’t answering the phone - he’s stressed out with lots of work on so I doubt he’d appreciate me calling to pester him about sorting out my blog! It don’t look pretty any more!
Hungry now. Is this maths delay hunger? Hmm, There was a bloke called Taf I met on monday who was an electrician. I wonder if he’d help me with my electric maths? Anyway. Food is an issue. My ceoliac test came back negative, but I’m clearly allergic to something/lots of things. Now I need to find something to have for lunch that doesn’t make me ill. I was ill yesterday even though I had no wheat. But I didn’t go to sleep (a wheaty side effect) at least. I think I’ll see if I have ingredients to make a veg stirfry. I hope I’m not allergic to miso mung bean soup - cooked that yesterday & it was lovely - though Mike wouldn’t eat it, unsurprisingly.
Okay, so I made lunch out of various veg found at the back of the freezer. Luckily going to be fed by my sister tonight. Managed to make a dice in Blender and go inside my first version of bog. Beginning to work out the program, so that’s encouraging. Off out now.
