Mouse on elastic
Thursday morning.
Feeling a bit lost since returning from our Czech dream. Today my new (ebay) computer is playing up - the pointer is acting like it is attached to elastic & the virus definitions won’t update properly. This is incredibly frustrating. Like trying to thread a needle every time you need to move somewhere on the screen. And my technical helpline is not available.
Today - still working on a more mathmatical model of the PID. The comment most people have made after seeing the paper version is they can’t read it properly. However, if the mouse remains elasticated, I fear that the computer is going to end up thrown out of the window.
The house is quiet for the first time in months. Martin worked from the kitchen since June, and Rosa has been about a fair amount as it’s the summer holidays from university. Now Martin has gone back to the Czech Republic, and Rosa & Tiago are visiting Rosa’s family in Holland. Yesterday, Mike had to work from home because of the police thing at the custard factory, and Dave worked from here too, plus they had a couple of meetings, so the house was full.
Rebooted & mouse okay - norton security error 0XC000005. No idea what that’s about. Now. On with the Process Instrumentation Diagram. Happily listening to Radio Karolina (it’s Czech country - in preference to other Czech radio stations as Karolina plays more Czech songs than other stations). Hope I’m not going to develop a liking for Country (in the same way I got into stuff they played at my aerobics classes in London).
