Car shares, incubators & Amazon stores

So, after talking to people about the idea last night - I’m attempting to make contact with an existing car share scheme. There’s two things I’m interested with this. Firstly to see if they’d let us do a franchise - specifically biodiesel & specifically Birmingham. The second intersting aspect is the techology they use for mileage - it looks like this could be adapted to act as an entry system for bog - as bike shed. Anyway, I need to speak to someone called James later today.

The other thing I’ve been up to is listing everthing I own on Amazon - well not everything - but enough for a decent declutter. I want to list Onya bags on Amazon, so opened a pro seller account - at a cost of nearly £29 - now to discover that I need codes for the product in order to list it - these are UPC or EAN codes. Nothing is ever as straigh forward as you think it’s going to be! I just hope I haven’t wasted £29. I’m still waiting for people to buy 5 items from me via Ebay which will mean that I can list items as ‘buy it now’. It’s frustrating because I wanted to create an Eco Christmas Gift list on it. In order to do this I need to get random stuff sold first!

Now, Simon from the Carbon Trust reminded me that I needed to investigate their incubator program.

I wonder if I can put the Doc M packs from Armitage Shanks in an e shop? It would be good to start gathering permissions for this, at least. Mike suggested that there was a program called google sketch up which may be useful for me to create images of bog for the site. I need to have a look at this, too.

Later… so I talked to the car share people & they want to put cars in Birmingham, and are happy to run them on biodiesel and give them a specific Birmingham brand.  I need to email them some more information about our needs… it sounds hopeful. Also, a couple of items have sold on Amazon already - declutter in progress.
